dGlobal Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. (dGTC) started in 2011, delivering NEBOSH IGC. Since then, a number of students have taken this professional certification.
The center is led by Mr. N. Devchandra Singh, CMIOSH, who has worked in India and the Gulf for 15 years and has been leading the center for 12 years. The center has a number of qualified and excellent tutors who are mostly CMIOSH and GradIOSH, working in senior positions in the profession in India and overseas.
As the method of delivery has been changed to virtual, physical attendance at the center is not required. At the same time, tutors can teach from anywhere on Zoom and other similar apps.

What is IGC/IG, and what is a level?
IGC means International General Certificate; this is the old syllabus title abbreviation, and IG stands for the same in the new syllabus. Both certificates are at the same level e.g. RQF/CQFW Level 3 in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
What is the entry level of this course?
There is no specific entry qualification, but learners should have the capability to understand the concepts in the syllabus and attempt a scenario-based examination and producing a risk assessment of the workplace.
This normally requires good proficiency in English, so NEBOSH recommends that learners should have minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests.

What do we recommend for admission to this course based on our experience?
We recommend a minimum that learners should have at least XII/HSC and English as one subject with a diploma in safety, fire, etc. Few years of experience in field be an advantage.
Leaners with the higher qualifications and experience mentioned above will be given preference. However, in other cases, Pre-Learning Assessment (PLA) will be conducted by dGTC for admission these courses.

How do I apply for this course?
Visit our website, www.dgtcpune.com, and click apply and follow as instructed. Keep a few documents ready: a photo, an ID card (Adhaar card, driving license, PAN card, and passport/equivalent), XII mark list, the highest qualification mark list, and a safety diploma, Alternatively, you can also send these documents to us to register.
Can I get the IGC/IG Course schedule?
NEBOSH has examinations every month; you can check on their website; however, we choose those examination dates suitable for us from their schedule. If you want to register through us, you need to have dates available with us. Please visit our website, www.dgtcpune.com.
Can I take examinations in other languages?
NEBOSH-IG is also offered in other languages, but we take registration for English we conduct class in English medium. Please NEBOSH website to find the learning partner offering in other languages.
What is the cost of this course?
The cost of the course is Rs 45,000/- (Exam registration fees, training fees and course materials), and group discounts are available from time to time. The re-sit fees is Rs 13000/-per paper. The learning partner has the right to revise these fees without any prior information.
How will the fees be paid?
Once the application is accepted, an email with account details will be sent to you. Fees can be paid by various modes, including bank transfer and UPI. Credit card payment will attract, an extra 2%.
I am outside India; can I register with your center?
Yes, as ii is taught through virtual mode and it is Open Book Examination, you can appear for this examination from anywhere in the world, considering the restrictions imposed by NEBOSH from time to time.
Your address for registration is important.
If you are outside India and want to appear for this course, while filling out the application, you must enter your present address from where you want to appear for this examination.
How will the course be delivered?
Now, we are delivering through a virtual online class, either full day (11 days) or evening part-time/weekend consist of 65 hrs. of guided learning hours. Application may be Microsoft team/Zoom.
What course material will you provide?
We will provide you with an RMS course book, a set of NEBOSH question papers, and a number of open sources that will be helpful.

What are the deferment, transfer, refund, and cancellation procedures?
There are two stages of admission to the course
1. Leaners are enrolled in the course to dGTC after verifying necessary documents then course materials are provided and teaching proceeds as per schedule. At this stage the registration is with dGTC.
– If the leaner wants to cancel registration 5% administrative charge be deducted and balance will be refund. Deferment to any suitable date is possible. Transfer to any suitable leaner can be done.
2. Leaners are then registered for the examination towards the NEBOSH as per the date lines. At this stage the leaner is registered with NEBOSH.
– If a leaner wants to cancel then NEBOSH cancellation and refund will be applied. Details available on NEBOSH website under policies and procedures.
How do I know that I’m registered with NEBOSH?
Once you registered with us, we subsequently registered you with NEBOSH. You will get an Assessment Registration Confirmation (ARC) from NEBOSH.
People with medical conditions, disabilities and learning difficulties or adverse circumstances?
Leaners with any of the above conditions should speak to us personally before taking admission, so that certain arrangements under the NEBOSH guidelines can be granted with permission from NEBOSH. Temporary illness/injuries or circumstances arose at or near the time of assessment contact us to apply for special consideration to NEBOSH.
Pre-course, in-course and post-course information for registered leaners.
Once you are registered with us, we form a WhatsApp group and start communicating with you about the course, rather than speaking to everyone. This WhatsApp group will remain until the results are declared.

Joining instruction from our center.
Once you are registered and class are to start, a Joining Instruction will be sent to your registered email address along with a number documents that contain almost every detail of the course. Leaners should become familiar with the information provided by NEBOSH.
How many papers are in IG Certification?
IG1 – Management of Health and Safety, assessed through the Open Book Examination. (OBE)
IG2 (Risk Assessment) is to be completed by the learners within 10 working days from the date of the examination of IG1 of their own workplace or a suitable workplace.

What is the Open Book Examination (OBE)?
The Open Book Examination allows you to use various sources while answering the question, e.g., course notes, books, journals, and the internet. You can prepare these answers offline and upload them once they are ready.
How do I access the examination platform?
Approximately 10 days before the examination, NEBOSH will send a user ID and password for accessing this platform. The details will be sent to learners email ID and with these leaner will have access to examination platform.

The question paper will be released on the examination platform at 11:00 AM (BST), UK time. You can download the question paper and answer template. Once downloaded, close the application, work offline, and complete the answers the upload the answer sheet next day 11:00 BST.
When to submit and where to submit the IG1 answer?
Once answers are ready, login with the same credentials and upload the papers following the instructions.
You have 24 hours time to upload answers i.e., until 11:00 AM the next day.
Is the closing interview mandatory, and what is the medium of the interview?
It is mandatory to face the closing interview; without this, your result will not be declared, but it is not part of the marking; details can be seen from the learner guidelines.
When should the IG2 submission be done, and to whom?
After the IG1 examination, the learner needs to face a closing interview conducted by the center, work on the IG2 risk assessment at their own workplace, and submit it within 10 working days from the date of the IG1 exam.
When is the result expected?
45 working days, the result will be mailed directly to learners, and a hard copy of the parchment will come to the center within 30 days. Certificates will be sent to learners at their postal address.
What is the procedure if it is referred to in one or both papers?
If a leaner is referred in one or more paper from our center, then can re-sit in the next scheduled examination paying the re-sit fees. Leaner can opt to appear in other center by applying to other center. We also take external students from other center provided they don’t have any sanctions from the NEBOSH and having satisfied us reason of changing the learning partner.

If the learner or potential learners are not happy with the level of service, you can write to us complain@dgtcpune.com. We will try to resolve the issues to our best level. If you are still not satisfied with the you can approach NEBOSH at complain@nebosh.org.uk However, if it is about an appeal of the result of examination then check the procedure under policies and procedure – Enquiry About Result (EAR) section.

Minor questions relating to information available with us will be answered immediately or within 24 hours, while questions that require information from the NEBOSH or other awarding bodies will be answered in the next 48 hours. Further, the learner will be updated regularly on any information received from them.
